Nord | Dining Chair

It’s hard to miss the lithe, lean, and Scandinavian influences on this chair that offer a mix of the old world and the modern one. Combining a strategic set of old-world natural colored hide leather with a moderate texture brings a lot of old-world style to this otherwise quite striking frame.

That frame though, is born of utility and restraint in the Modern God’s workroom, where nature is reimagined to be strong but slim, and purposefully linear and geometric. It is as though a purposefully mid-century or modern piece was begging to be given a bit of leniency to break out of the mold. What results, is a trip through time and space that melds tight, granular design from the Northern Countries with liberal textures and soft inviting French influence to create a modern-meet-classical masterpiece.
